This handcrafted rosary celebrates St. Kateri Tekakwitha, first Native American saint. Hail Mary beads are gorgeous Aqua Terra Jasper gemstone rounds, highly polished and gleaming with incredible variation in color that encompasses both earth and sky. Tones include the rusty hue of the land, blue to aqua of the sky, and white of the clouds of heaven, in honor of God's creation and the heavenly home of the saint. They honor God's creation and the heavenly home of the saint, who is the Patroness of Ecology. Silver-plated Our Father beads are radiant florals, stylized with a Native American flair to reflect her heritage as the daughter of a Mohawk Chief.
An oxidized silver centerpiece medal pictures the saint and celebrates the years of her birth and death.  The oxidized silver Crucifix is distinctive, accented with cascading lilies at the top, Corpus, and foot of the Cross. This unique Crucifix commemorates her beloved title, "Lily of the Mohawks,"  which honors her purity and holiness in the face of great sufferings, rejection, and persecution.
