- Handcrafted Jasper and metal beads
- Single decade rosary
- St Jude - Patron of impossible causes
- Prayer card included
As your fingers move around the mysteries you will feel the cool, smooth Jasper beads. This ancient stone is listed in the Old Testament on the “Breastplate of Judgment” (Exodus 28:17-21) and is also listed as one of the gems found in the foundations of the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:19-20 and Isaiah 54:11). Light and dark greens swirl together to remind us of the green cloak of St. Jude. Green is a color associated with new growth, rebirth, and renewal. It reminds us of God’s promise, “Behold, I make all things new!” (Revelation 21:5). St. Jude has long been called upon as the patron saint of hopeless or impossible causes, however, do not view St. Jude as a sad or depressing saint - instead we call upon him with great hope! Prayer card included.
Prayer Card text -
Front: St. Jude, intercede for us especially in those trials that appear hopeless and impossible to resolve.
Back: "Most holy Apostle, St. Jude Thaddeus, friend of Jesus, I place myself in your care. Help me know that I need not face my troubles alone. Please make use of that particular privilege of bringing visible and speedy help where it is most needed, and pray to God on my behalf for [mention personal request]. May I receive consolation in my sorrow, courage in my fear, and the grace to accept whatever may lie ahead for me and my loved ones. Thank you, St. Jude, for the promise of hope you hold out to all who believe, and inspire me to give this gift to others as it has been given to me. St. Jude, Apostle of Hope, pray for us."
