Amid the terror of the early 20th century, Jesus often appeared to a young Polish nun named Faustina, to share his messages for the world. On the evening of September 13th, 1935, she saw a vision of an angel poised to exact God’s punishment on the whole world and in particular a certain city. Faustina fervently prayed that God would delay His punishment a little longer and allow the world to make reparation for sin.
She pleaded in prayer: “Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ for our sins and those of the whole world; for the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us.” Because of this prayer, given to her by Jesus, the city and the world were spared.
Since that night, this prayer has been recited millions of times by people all over the world.
St. Faustina spent her life spreading the message of God’s Divine Mercy and, thanks to her faithfulness, we have received the great gift of the Divine Mercy Chaplet. But there’s more work to be done. Our world desperately needs God’s mercy, and yet many Catholics still don’t know about the amazing graces Jesus promises to those who recite this chaplet.
That’s where this program comes in.
