- St. Benedict Rosary with Jubilee Medal
- Cool, smooth bronzite beads slide easily through fingers
- Heirloom quality
Heirloom quality with the look of an antique, this handsome rosary is a fitting tribute to the long and remarkable history of the Benedictine Order. On the front of the bronze centerpiece is a likeness of St. Benedict. In his right hand he holds symbols of his life story: the infamous poisoned chalice and his friend, the raven. In his left hand he holds a crosier, a sign of his authority as an abbot. On the back of the centerpiece is the reverse of the St. Benedict medal, also called the Jubilee Medal, featuring Benedict’s cross. Wonderfully complementing the centerpiece is a bronze crucifix. As your fingers move around the rosary you will feel the cool, smooth bronzite beads. Bronzite is a mineral which is mined for its warm earthy colors which sometimes have flecks of metallic sparkle. The colors may range from deep brown to cream and gold. Bronzite makes a heavier bead which gives a little more weight to the rosary. The mineral can be found in many places around the globe and also in meteorites! Bronzite has often been associated with peace, harmony, courage and self-confidence. The rosary also comes with a prayer card featuring the 20 mysteries of the rosary and which days to pray them.
